Gift giving season is upon us. We’re already a few lit candles into our menorahs and the halls have been properly decked. So, now that you’ve decorated accordingly, it’s time to shop accordingly. This time of year, you will more likely than not be bombarded with lots of holiday party invites (the downfall of being so popular) and while your host(ess) is really just giddy to see your pretty face, your mom, Emily Post, and I would strongly encourage you not to show up empty handed. Happy Valentine’s Day, beauties. A consumer driven Hallmark holiday to some, just another reason to celebrate and indulge in all things love to others (like me). Give me a “holiday” involving chocolate, loads of affection, pretty lingerie and possibly something shiny and I’m in. How can one day encompass so many things that I adore? Cupid and I hate to be pests, but there is no stopping the calendar. February 14th is on it’s way and whether or not you are choosing to ignore it, time marches on with or without you, my friend. Maybe you’ve just started dating someone potentially special (but how can one really be sure?) or perhaps you just want to trade gifts with girlfriends instead.
