Tangerine tango not your thing? That’s fine. There’s another shade that is sure to make this spring just as refreshing. Try a little bit of mint to put a spring in your step. It looks great in a head to toe look or something just as simple as freshly painted phalanges. The color is equally as flattering on all skin tones, so don’t be afraid to experiment with this spearminty shade of green.

Fun fact: mint chocolate chip ice cream ranks as my #1 all time favorite ice cream. That in and of itself should be enough to get you on board with mint this spring.

The maxi dress is nothing new, but that’s okay. It’s still a closet and transitional season must have. A maxi is great for running errands in a simple pair of flat sandals and tote or can be dressed up with heels and sparkly jewels. Maxi dresses are a win for all parties involved. It’s like getting to wear your pajamas all day long and no one can really say anything cause you look so stunning and you never run the risk of exposing your “Britney.” Striped, solid, floral, tribal… you really can’t go wrong. Beauty Buzz: Brow Down

Long gone are the days of over tweezed and drawn on eyebrows. The full brow is back and better than ever as seen on the Spring 2012 runways. Everyone from Naeem Khan to Derek Lam channeled their Brooke Shields a la The Blue Lagoon. In seasons past, the bleached brow had made an appearance, but this spring, it’s all about the statement making power brow.

I suffer from having fairly light and fairly thin eyebrows naturally, so I have to fill them in just to make ’em look normal using Tarte’s EmphasEYES brow pencil in Taupe on a day to day basis. Rosie Huntington Whitely swears by Laura Mercier’s Brow Powder. It’s time to find your power tool for banging brows. The look is full, groomed, and face framing. It is also important to find the right shape for your face as well. I have found that just having a groomed brow makes me immediately appear more polished and adds an extra impact to my eyes.
