You know what I like almost as much as cashmere sweaters, puppies, and unicorns? Boots! A great pair of boots (or twenty) makes winter and the impending arctic ice storms (almost) bearable. When you think of shorts, you probably automatically envision a casual day running errands or just hanging out in the backyard (ha, backyard). Rarely, would you think of shorts as formal, but as of late, shorts have taken a turn towards formal. Celebrities have opted for shorts on the red carpet and have dressed up even their casual cut offs with feminine blouses. So, next time you’re staring into the depths of your closet trying to figure out what exactly to wear, don’t forget about your abbreviated pants (also known as shorts). Some of our very favorite celebrity fashionistas hit the tents this week to take in the shows at Lincoln Center.
