Why Did You Wear That: Night Rider

By |October 19th, 2010|Personal Style, Why Did You Wear That?|

Ever just feel like not getting dressed? You’d rather just stay in your PJ’s and call it a day? Well, I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t do just that. I’m not talking about your flannel footed pajamas. I mean beautiful, well made nightgowns, chemises, and playsuits. Why shouldn’t your underwear be as pretty as your outerwear?

By |October 15th, 2010|Friday Frocks|

I figured why not throw you a bone and do a little double duty Friday Frocks. I know, I know… I haven’t been too helpful in the Halloween costume suggestions this year. Probs because I’m a little over all of them. So, here is a happy medium. Dresses that could be worked into a Halloween costume and then worn again in regular daily life.

Why Did You Wear That: The Zoe Report

By |October 15th, 2010|Celebrity Style|

Oh… who is this LA starlet walking down Robertson? Nicole Richie?  Mischa Barton? An Olsen, perhaps?

Oh no… it’s good ol’ Rachel Zoe. I know, it’s hard to tell, cause they all tend to look alike thanks to RZ’s robotic styling. Hm… It hasn’t been all that chilly in LA, so I’m wondering why she’s dressed like a scarecrow during a winter frost. Perhaps trying to keep that bun in her oven warm? Ugh… I can’t say by the looks of this get up that I’d want her styling me… Just sayin’.

It’s. Bananas.

Why Did You Wear That: Romper Room

By |October 12th, 2010|Personal Style, Why Did You Wear That?|

Man, there isn’t much I love more than a romper. It’s like an all in one outfit! What is a romper you ask. Here is the official “romper” definition:

romper suit is a one-piece garment worn by children and sometimes women. Somewhat similar to a coverall, it is loose fitting and usually has shorter legs that may be gathered at the end. Puffed pants are particularly associated with rompers. Rompers usually are meant as a combination of shorts and a shirt, though the term can include jumpers, one-piece bathing suits, and clubwear fashions to name a few.

Thanks, Wikipedia!

You can see a few examples below to get an even better idea of what these are and how they look. If your interest is peaked, you should be able to find one just for you by visiting Filly Flair today. Friday Frocks: Here Comes the Bride

By |October 8th, 2010|Friday Frocks, Why Did You Wear That?|

main_brides

We all know that the LBD is crucial to every woman’s wardrobe, but there is one dress that will probably be the most important dress a woman ever wears (unless, of course, you’re being inaugurated as the first female prez). This dress… is the wedding dress. You could spend a good portion of your adult life weeding through all of the different options. Sigh. In a sea of white… how will you ever choose? Here’s only a teeny tiny smattering of options:

The possibilities are seriously endless. Good luck!

B t dubs, none of these are my choice… that would be bad luck.
