Being single during the holidays has both its ups and downs. On the upside, you don’t have to worry about finding the perfect gift for your beau that expresses the appropriate sentiments which depend, of course, on a multitude of variables including time, tone, and context. Talk about a headache. The downside(s) of rolling solo to holiday parties and family functions is having to reassure your aunts you aren’t “like Ellen” and being seated at the children’s table– because clearly a marriage an adult makes. I’ve grown accustomed to being the lone spinster at most holiday parties and to be honest, I prefer it at this point in time, but who knows? That could all change.
And even if you are single, party of one, this year, you probably still have a brother, father, or best guy friend to buy for. Below are my pics for gifts that are sure to send the right message to the important men in your life.
