It all began with a pair of leggings.  Pretty soon WhyDid realized she had a whole lot to say—and before long, just couldn’t shut up.

Women are bombarded with rules, ads, and Victoria’s Secret models on a daily basis.  WhyDid encourages women to ask, “why?”

Whether you can’t decide what to wear on a first date or job interview or don’t know what to do about your backstabbing best friend or commitment-phobe boyfriend, WhyDid gives no nonsense, straight from the hip, heartfelt advice, tips, and how-to’s (no sugar coating here, ladies).  What started with a pair of leggings (worn as pants) has evolved into a one stop site for today’s savvy woman.

Who is WhyDid?

With a background in merchandise buying, product development, and marketing, Kirsten Smith is not only well rounded, but also well versed in fashion from factory to storefront.  Her keen eye and ability to keep her finger on the pulse is what has always kept her ahead of the curve and made her an excellent buyer, stylist, and writer.  She is often sought out for her advice, opinions, and trend forecasting not only by friends, but colleagues and industry leaders.

Kirsten has a beloved maltipoo named Smitty and she can’t whistle.
